mRNA-seq (NGS) - De novo
mRNA sequencing allows profiling of all mRNA transcripts in cells under specific conditions and is a widely used technology in various research areas. The BMKCloud De novo mRNA-seq pipeline is designed to analyze poly-A enriched sequencing libraries when no reference genome is available. The pipeline starts with quality control, followed by de novo transcript assembly and unigene set selection. The unigene structure analysis predicts coding sequence (CDS) and simple sequence repeats (SSR). Subsequently, the differential expression analysis finds differentially expressed genes (DEGs) among the tested conditions, followed by functional annotation and enrichment of DEGs to extract biological insights.
